The Robotic Surgery team at UHS are delighted to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, self motivated Surgical First Assistant to join us as part of our expanding service. We provide dedicated Robotic SFA's to 5 different surgical specialities utilising 3 different Robotic Surgical systems from 2 different manufacturers (Intuitive Da Vinci and CMR Versius).

UHS offers excellent training and development opportunities to hone and develop your clinical and managerial skills. With the opportunity to train both nationally and internationally in conjunction with surgeons, you will develop and train the next generation of Robotic surgeons and scrub teams at UHS.

  • Surgical First Assistant Part 1 and 2 essential.
  • Experience of scrubbing for multiple specialities.
  • Self motivated and flexible.

  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • 37.5 hours across a 4 day working week (Monday to Friday).
  • No night or weekend shifts.
