Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for two Roadworkers to join our Highway & Street Lighting Operations team.

The role involves working in a challenging and busy frontline service, maintaining the Borough’s roads and footpaths. This is a crucial role benefiting the communities and people of Stockton. The types of work you would be doing include tarmacking, maintaining street furniture (such as street signs and benches), use of machinery and equipment for minor civils work and taking part in Winter Maintenance Operations.

We will provide you with the training and support to get you up to speed. All you need to be a success is:

  • A full driving licence that’s valid to drive in the UK
  • Previous groundwork or highway maintenance experience
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and engage with residents and visitors of the Borough
