Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Research Support Worker
We are looking for a Band 3 Clinical Research Support Worker interested in an exciting, diverse, and challenging post that will be based within the Cardiovascular/Clinical Pharmacology Clinical Research Team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The post will be part-time (22.5 hours per week/3 days) and is permanent.
Previous experience in clinical research would be an advantage however, consideration will be given to the right calibre of candidate with suitable previous experience, and with a keen willingness to learn in a developing role. The candidate will require excellent communication skills, be able to show initiative, and have the ability to work flexibly and actively in response to study challenges.
Through training and supervision you will develop the clinical and administrative research skills required to deliver exceptional clinical research care in order to support patients involved in research studies, and you will work alongside a well-established team of supportive and approachable clinical research nurses. Duties will include data input, filing, sample collection and processing, and some patient facing clinical tasks.
The role may be of interest to those from various healthcare professional disciplines for example healthcare support workers and phlebotomists.
