On the Risk Management Graduate Development Programme, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to the work of multiple teams over the 2 years you spend as a Scottish Water Specialist Graduate. You will undertake a variety of interesting and challenging placements, which will allow you gain a breadth of experience whilst helping you to identify where your strengths lie.
We are keen to hear from graduates with an understanding of risk management and a willingness to learn to engage with others to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Our two-year graduate programme will further develop your skills and expertise. As a Specialist Graduate in Risk Management you will be supporting the effective and efficient delivery of the programme of works in accordance with Scottish Water’s risk management framework.
On our graduate programme you will gain a broad overview of the business, building your knowledge and expertise during rotational placements in key areas of Scottish Water. This is a particularly interesting time as you will be joining a team at the heart of developing and deploying some of the businesses, transformation for the future. You will help shape your programme - the opportunities, the development and the support will be designed around your interests and future ambitions. This will allow you to gain exposure to specific areas of the business and the challenges facing the industry.

The successful candidate must: share our passion for delivering great customer service and have a knowledge of basic business and investment analysis principles. You should have good problem-solving skills, be numerate and analytical with strong presentation creation skills. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills
You will have a minimum 2:2 Honours Degree (or be on track to achieve a 2:2) in Risk Management or a Risk Management related discipline; or a Post Graduate qualification in Risk Management e.g. CIRM/MIRM.

Next Steps
The closing date for applications to this programme will be the 5th March 2023. You can expect to hear from us by the end of March.
The recruitment process will involve online testing and face to face meetings. These tests & meetings should take place late March / early April.
