The Risk Management function at 888 William Hill is expanding, and we are looking for a risk enthusiast to help establish a best-in-class risk management culture by establishing an ERM infrastructure that manages the Company’s overall risk exposure, generates competitive advantages and create business opportunities


You’ll oversee the company’s risk governance framework to ensure effective risk management practices are in place. You’ll also be involved in developing and implementing the Company’s risk management strategy, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all business units and functions.


Your role in the team

  • Establish and maintain a risk governance framework to ensure effective risk management practices are in place
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations and aligned to the company’s overall risk management strategyDevelop and implement risk management training programs for employees
  • Monitor and report on risk exposures to senior management
  • Identify and map relevant regulatory requirements for the organization to our risk and control environment highlighting deficiencies in coverage and linking to actionable recommendations
  • Stay current on regulatory changes, industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions and use this information to make informed decisions
  • Continuously review and update the company's policy and training management to ensure they remain effective and relevant.

What you’ll need

  • Experience in risk management and contributing to the design and effectiveness of ERM frameworks
  • Familiar with core risk management tools, including RCSAs, risk reporting, risk appetite statements, incidents and issues
  • Knowledge of risk governance framework and best practices
  • Have strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task on quality work deliverables
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Have a proven track record of managing all levels of stakeholders in a similar role and developing core relationships
  • Display commercial awareness and understanding of key business priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with sound judgement to be able to take initiative and apply reasoning and logic and make actionable recommendations
