Risk Consultant – Salary is competitive depending on experience
Location: Home based role covering the West of the UK.
Aviva Risk Management Solutions (ARMS) have a great opportunity for a Risk Consultant to join our experienced team covering West of the UK.
The role is home based and primarily aimed to cover the West of the UK region but may occasionally require working to support other regions in the UK and potentially European work subject to experience.
ARMS provide an exciting environment to work as a market leading risk management team working to service a range of internal and external stakeholders.
This is a customer facing role and we are looking for a professional person to join an established and professional team. Strong behavioural and communication skills are important and preferably a NEBOSH certificate qualification.

ARMS always aim to deliver a customised approach for our clients and protect their business.
ARMS drive a Prevention led agenda to support a number of internal and external stakeholders through the deployment of risk management expertise and provision of dynamic and robust solutions for our customers.
The customer facing role will require strong communication and negotiations and a good sense of stakeholder’s management
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Good knowledge of current risk management, risk assessment, and loss prevention practices for commercial risks, matched with excellent coordination skills
Ability to analyse, collate and interpret underwriting information to ensure pro-active risk management decisions are made – therefore good working knowledge of insurance processes would be preferable
Highly developed presentation and customer engagement skills, with excellent influencing and negotiating skills
NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent and/or relevant industry specific qualifications such as ACII
Previous experience of working within Insurance is preferred
