The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Administrator here at the Jensten Group. The role can be worked remotely and will be reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance (Retail). The main purpose of the role is to support the Risk & Compliance team in an administrative capacity. Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis of firm’s compliance performance to identify risks and issues
  • Managing FCA Connect applications including SMF applications, annual attestations and firm changes
  • Assisting with data collation and input for periodic regulatory reporting including RMAR, REP019, REP021 & REP022, REP025, CMA PNCD.
  • Ensuring all ICO registration is up to date and accurate
  • Maintaining risk registers and liaising with risk owners as necessary
  • Follow the Group procedures for requests for new Introducers, including undertaking due diligence, completing and submitting applications, reviewing and issuing TOBA contracts, registering with FCA where IAR status is required..
  • Reviewing financial promotions and liaising with the marketing team
  • Collating news articles and other publications for horizon scanning
  • Managing R&C content on the Group intranet including creating / maintaining forms such as breaches, complaints, gifts & hospitality and conflicts reporting forms and managing the incoming submissions from these.
  • Other ad-hoc support for the R&C team as required.


About you

As our Risk & Compliance Administrator, you’ll have a keen eye for detail & accuracy, be well-organised and have excellent communication skills. You’ll also be or have:

  • Good understanding of the UK regulatory environment and practical application
  • Experience of carrying out auditing and compiling reports
  • Confident communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to operate within a fast-moving, demanding environment
  • Highly motivated and committed to providing a high level of service
  • Ability to work remotely and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Acturis reporting knowledge (ideally)
  • Applied Epic knowledge would be desirable (advantageous)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • IT literate and capable of adapting to new systems
