Risk Analyst (CTO)
Lloyds Banking Group
Leeds, Edinburgh, London, Halifax, Bristol, Manchester – We’re happy with home working the majority of the time, however you’ll need to be in office 1 or 2 days per week under your own cost.
Salary & Benefits: The base salary banding for this role is £45,198 - £55,242 in London and £38,292 to £46,728 outside of London plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

The Chief Technology Office (CTO) oversee the overall technology strategy and leading on Engineering Services, Business and Enterprise Architecture, Engineering capability and standards and Innovation.
Our purpose is to provide thought leadership, setting the direction to unleash the value from technology that supports our customers & colleagues on our mission to help Britain prosper.
The CTO Risk team ensure effective risk and control management processes and practices are in place across the division.
Working with our teams we provide ongoing technology risk management support to CTO colleagues, working closely with risk partners from across the Group to ensure technology risks are successfully mitigated or brought within appetite.
As a member of the team we expect you to actively participate in embedding a risk culture, as well as challenge the efficiency of risk and control practices across the teams.
Specific activities which you’ll be responsible for include things like;

Assist with testing of the control suite and ensure compliance with group requirements / policies

Produce reporting to help inform senior leaders on how effectively our controls are operating and provide assurance the right steps are followed to manage our risk.

Support analysis of business and risk MI to identify emerging risks and advise, where more detailed oversight should be undertaken

Provide challenge and oversight of the effectiveness of the control framework across CTO teams so that the CTO continues to operate within risk appetite

Help advise senior management and colleagues on risk and controls in accordance with regulations and industry standards

Support in the identification, documentation, and management of technology risks
What do we need to see from applicants?

Familiar with working in a technology function
-
Experience in controls assurance / testing
-
Report development and writing, including comprehensive Microsoft skills will be essential

Awareness/Understanding of regulation, policy and standards applicable to the technology control environment will be essential

Ideally user experience of ServiceNow and or RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment)

A free thinker with an Agile mind-set, willing to challenge the status quo

Authentic communicator, capable of delivering clear messages to different audiences providing clear understanding for colleagues
