Responsibilities of the RF Test Engineer, will include:

• Development of any RF test hardware, firmware, and software for the test facility.
• Commissioning of the test facility including writing specifications and procedures.
• Working within the company Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure that we comply with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Maintenance of existing legacy software, test fixtures and test equipment (fault finding to component level).
• Supporting Production with any test facility issues.
• Optimization and structuring of test software and sequences to ensure efficient testing.

The successful candidate for this RF Test Engineer role will have the following skills/experience:

• Experience working in a product-based electronics manufacturing environment.
• Read and understand circuit schematics and diagrams
• An understanding of RF and micro-wave circuitry and design principles.
• An understanding of RF and micro-wave test and measurement challenges.
• Familiarity with Vector Network Analysers (VNA) and Spectrum Analysers.
• Relevant experience in Software development.
• Schematic capture of circuits and PCB layout.
• Experience debugging PCBs to component level.
