Job Description
This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of our Total Reward and People Systems Plan. This includes supporting the business to make reward decisions at all levels, maintaining and enhancing our HR systems (including Sage People, Thrive, Peakon and Darwin), and automating and improving how the HR team delivers services to the wider business.
This role will also analyse our People data, primarily using the information held in Sage to create insight that will support critical business decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Support Reward activities including pay review, annual bonus, the benefits flex window and recognition.
- Provide teams with data related to compensation and conduct benchmarking and market analysis.
- Manage the annual salary survey data submissions.
- Support the implementation of pay changes.
- Maintain data integrity in Sage People (our HR and recruit system), Walnut (our learning management system), Darwin (our flexible benefits system) and Grapevine (our Engagement system run by Workday). Partner with our Payroll Team to ensure colleagues are paid correctly and on time.
- Review and analyse current processes, identify areas for improvement
- Develop and manage system changes to Sage People
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting and guidance to end users
- Solve HR Related tickets submitted to our IT help desk.
- Collaborate with the People Team and wider business to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions in alignment with the People roadmap
- Design dashboards and reports in order to support business decisions
- Manage the quarterly releases and present the new features to stakeholders
Experience, skills and competencies
- Previous experience with Reward and HR systems is required
- Experience with Sage People is preferred although training can be provided
- Advanced Excel skills necessary
- Communication – the ability to share complex technical information in an easy-to-understand way for end users and cross-functional team members
- Analytical thinking – effectively translates data into actionable insights
