Here at Dunelm we are recruiting for a Returns Administrator to ensure all aspects of the returns process are carried out accurately and efficiently in accordance with the current processes and procedures.
Working hours: 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday
As a Returns Administrator responsibility will include:
- To identify potential product issues
- Use and understand the process of Hand Held Terminals (HHT)
- Understand the processes and procedures for Returns Goods In and Returns Goods Out
- Liaise with stores with reference to any returns issues that may arise
- Liaise with suppliers to arrange collections of returned goods and deal with any queries regarding amounts or values
- Liaise with finance over any discrepancies with returns PO’s
- Liaise with the quality department over potential product issues
- Liaise with 3pl operators and monitor their stock files
- Liaise with customer services to highlight trends in returned items and raise any issues relating to customer refunds.
To complete all paperwork and system processes in line with department activity ensuring accuracy is maintained throughout, including:
- Record information from returns and log them onto the system
- Complete write off adjustments and record
- Raise debits to suppliers for returns
- Arrange collections with suppliers for returned stock
- Record daily activity including hours used, pallets completed and pallets returned to stock
- Filing all paperwork in the relevant place
- Control and monitor re-called stock and stock in transit
To produce accurate reports for managements use both internal and external including:
- Supplier, collection and pallet count
- Activity, hours and pallets salvaged and returned stock
- Scrap record
- Financial reporting
