Dale Hardware is looking for an tenured retail manager to join our company. Our goal is to find the right candidate who has a passion to inspire and lead a team while driving for results. The right candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams and thinking outside the box.

Job Qualifications:

• Knowledge of customer service fundamentals
• Experience building and managing a “customer first” team culture
• Manage conflict, lead and hold others accountable
• Strong Business acumen
• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
• Learn and adapt to current technology needs
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently and with a team.
• Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.

As a Department Manager, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:

• Build a team of passionate and knowledgeable team who strive to exceed customer service expectations by focusing on decreasing wait time, friendly customer interaction, and service recovery.
• Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and customer engagement. Including: Merchandising, pricing, transitions, revisions, sales plans, sampling, promotions and price changes.
• Enable a consistent experience for our customers by ensuring product is in stock, available, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
• Be an expert of operations, accuracy, process and efficiency.
• Create a scheduling plan in partnership with your leader based off of monthly and weekly business workload and customer traffic.
• Manage the departments’ experience by anticipating and/or reacting with urgency to staffing or scheduling needs based on customer traffic and sales.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance. Lead the team to work in the same way and hold others accountable to this commitment.
• Lead and coach the team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all department process.
• Address store needs (in emergency or regulatory visits)
• All other duties based on business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
