Job Brief

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our confectionery team for either part-time or full-time employment. We are looking for a friendly shop assistant who can work flexible hours with our store manager to keep the shop running and in good order.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the store fully stocked
• Maintaining the highest level of visual merchandising and store conditions
• Delivering exceptional sales services for improved customer satisfaction
• Interacting with customers and identifying their needs and preferences
• Operating cash registers and point-of-sale machines
• Receiving and verifying the quality and quantity of new shipments

Additional Job Role

We are also seeking an individual to manage our social media account and website. If you believe that you could do the above job and this one then we could offer you a full-time position.

Additional Responsibilities

• Managing our social media account - this includes being proactive on Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok in order to drive customer engagement and sales.
• Responding to messages and comments
• Photographing new stock and uploading it to our social media accounts and websites
• Liasing with the store manager to setup promotions.
• Managing our website and keeping stock up to date
• Setting up email marketing campaigns.

Ideally we are seeking an individual who can work full time as both a store assistant and marketing manager, but we will accept applications for either role.

All work will be based at Carousel, either in the store or in the offices above. Free parking is available within a 5 minute walk.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

Salary: £8.00-£11.00 per hour
