Retail Sales Manager
Full time - FulhamAbout Natoora
You will be joining at an exciting time, as we look to expand our portfolio of both National Retail Accounts and local stores and delis. You will be responsible for growing existing large accounts such as Whole Foods, nurturing new accounts, and looking for growth opportunities in a portfolio of around 80 independent stores and delis. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a distinct sub-section of customers that currently straddles the 2 commercial teams. By consolidating and then developing the portfolio of products that we supply to large retailers and independent stores, including those that we produce ourselves, there is huge potential to develop this business channel. You will build strong relationships with external buying and category managers, you will analyse product and competitor data to identify opportunities and threats, all whilst ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activities. You will join a friendly, driven team with plenty of opportunities to expand your responsibilities and skills as you grow with us.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day account management of Retail Customers
- Identify and develop strategies for sustainable growth
- Define and manage the roadmap for these customers and coordinate across departments to maximise growth
- Create and implement promotional strategies
- Use data to analyse the success of activities and further drive performance
- Report on sales to the wider business
- Where relevant, conduct joint business plan negotiations
- Work with the Brand team to plan and coordinate any marketing activities, being sure to reflect our company goals
- Work with the F2G team to launch the new packaging range into your customers
- Ensure any problems that arise are dealt with smoothly and promptly by the appropriate teams
- Work closely with Buying, Pricing and Operations to ensure that KPIs are being met
Requirements
- An analytical mindset
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Experience with Tableau, an analytical tool is preferred
- A keen attention to detail
- Enjoy working in an agile, flexible working context
- Have creative problem solving skills
- Demonstrate commercial acumen
- Demonstrate a passion for food, fresh produce and for our ethos
