Position Overview:
The Clean It Centre Retail Associate is responsible for the marketing, sales and customer service of the Clean-it™ Centre location.
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting in the daily administration duties for the Warehouse and acting as a back-up for the Warehouse Lead.
Relevant Experience & Knowledge:
- Responsible for opening / closing the Clean-it™ Centre
- Maintaining adequate inventory levels for the Clean-it™ Centre
- Assist with the sales and services of all branded and manufactured products through the Clean-it™ Centre
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Clean-it™ Centre and Warehouse including, but not limited to, stocking shelves, daily housekeeping and upkeep, merchandising and promotional displays.
- Accurately invoice orders through Clean-it™ Centre.
- Offer suggestions and implement advertising concepts/ideas for the Clean-it™ Centre.
- Responsible for all cash generated through the Clean-it™ Centre and reconciling for accurate safe drops
- Inspect, test, clean and note problems, missing/broken parts etc. on carpet cleaners upon return and before renting.
- Assist with year-end inventory
- Participate in product and sales knowledge programs
- Assist in the developing and planning of Spring and Fall Sales Events
- Meet all requirements of the Clean-it™ Standard Merchandising Program and Clean-it™ Operations, Standards Policy as directed by Swish Corporate Marketing and Clean-it™ General Manager
- Supporting the Warehouse Lead in performing administrative duties.
- Acting as a back-up for the Warehouse Lead.
- Receiving product into Pointforce.
- Submitting all paperwork to Head Office as needed.
- Performing cycle counts, cycle count data entry, and inventory variance probes (working with the inventory control team to finalize_
- Assisting with 3rd party carrier shipments / Bills of Lading (i.e. Purolator) as needed
- Works in a climate controlled area
- May encounter tight deadlines
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Stands for more than four hours daily (on Anti-fatigue matting)
- May encounter occasional disgruntled customer
- Must lift container of up to 50lbs to restock shelves
- Listening and mental attentiveness when dealing with branches/customers/sales staff.
