Broxburn Vegetables is looking to fill a full-time retail associate position in our produce store! If you are a reliable and responsible individual interested in working in a grocery store that sells locally grown and produced products, then this is the job for you!

Responsibilities:
The retail associate would be responsible for opening the store, greeting and assisting customers, answering calls, operating the register, packaging products, maintaining shelf appearance, inventories, and closing the store. In addition, the retail associate will attend occasional farmers markets on our behalf during the summer months.
Who You Are:
The retail associate is a highly motivated individual, who would be described as loyal, reliable, friendly, trustworthy, and has great communication skills. In addition, the ideal candidate can count cash back, assume responsibility, and work in a fast paced environment both individually and as part of a team.
Working Conditions and Requirements:
· Candidates must be available to start the position in the beginning of July.
· Candidates must have weekend availability (Friday and Saturday).
· Candidates must be available for any hours between Monday through Saturday between 7:30 am and 5:45 pm.
· Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
· Must be able to work in a team setting as well as individually.
· Must have transportation to and from work.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Must be comfortable working alone.
Qualifications:
· Must be bondable (criminal record check).
· Must have a valid drivers license.
· Must be allowed to work in Canada.
