What you’ll do…
You will work within a small customer-centric team (line-managed by a Retail Supervisor) to provide our visitors an excellent retail shopping experience that promotes the Museum’s brand values and builds brand affiliation. You will help in maintaining high retail standards, store treatment, and visual merchandising that aligns with the Visual Merchandising Guidelines Manual, maximising sales and KPI targets. As part of the retail team, your role will include some manual handling when processing deliveries, pre retailing new stock and merchandising stock on the shop floor. The role involves long periods of time standing and carrying out a cash and wrap service at our till point.

- Creating a welcoming, safe and appealing environment for visitors to enjoy and shop. • Becoming an ambassador for the brand and Museum by delivering the very best shopping experience and standards of service for our customers. • Maximising sales through high standards of customer service and experience, delivering attentive, authoritative and enthusiastic levels of engagement with our broad range of visitors. • Compliance with all departmental policies, and with all relevant legislation including adherence to retail and company cash handling procedures at all times. • Maximising sales income through high retail standards, standards of housekeeping, stock availability and high standards of visual merchandising, compliant with the Visual Merchandising Guidelines Manual
