The role: The purpose of the role is to represent the Percy & Reed brand in stores such as Marks & Spencer and John Lewis; to grow the Percy & Reed business by engaging directly with customers, ensuring the brand is well presented, supporting and educating the in-store Beauty Assistants and offering outstanding customer service in the Percy & Reed way.
Job Role & Expectations: Previous retail experience is essential, so that we know that you enjoy talking to customers and making sales. Full training on the product range will be provided, and you will have a London-based mentor who will give you tips and advice, and who will help you to grow in confidence and skill in the role.
In detail the role is to:
- Act as a brand ambassador whilst in store actively engaging customers and selling the range
- Assist customers shopping in the hair care department, offering advice, and sharing your expertise
- Drive sales by traffic stopping, greeting customers, offering hair consultations and highlighting promotions
- Develop strong and lasting relationships with store Beauty Assistants and Department Managers
- Ensure store teams replace any missing Point of Sale, testers and OOS items - Clean and organise the fixture, products and testers
- Obtain additional sites where possible, particularly around key seasonal promotional times
- Take photographs whilst in store and complete an end of day report Skills & Attributes

- Self-motivated, to be able to work without day-to-day supervision
Hours and Location: Part Time position based in Newcastle – 6 hours each Saturday plus 6 hours on 2 other days (Sunday, Thursday or Friday as preferred).
