Retail Marketing Executive
As the Retail Marketing Executive, you will support in the development and implementation of marketing programmes and initiatives to support the Retail network with achieving their New Car sales objectives in a way that is supportive of our positioning as a leading premium brand. In addition the role is responsible for the delivery of new product discovery guides, product substance content and other customer and Retailer facing communications for new and current products.
Key Responsibilties

  • Support in the ongoing operation and delivery of the BMW Engage co-funding programme, ensuring the programme meets the marketing requirements for the Retailer network and delivers against our lead and enquiry targets.
  • Secondary support in monitoring Retailer CI compliance to ensure the BMW brand is correctly represented at all times. Notifying the BMW Retailer Marketing Manager and relevant BMW Regional Manager(s) of non-compliant activity of their Retailers.
  • Develop product substance content and new model guides to support Retailers and be available as customer facing content for new BMW products and other products in the range as required.
  • Support in the development and implementation of new model Retailer launch campaigns which are aligned to national marketing, including provision of cost-effective Retailer toolkits and events support for major launches to help facilitate a successful launch for new products on a local and regional level.
  • Delivery of quarterly tactical/in-market assets for BMW new car campaigns to support achievement of the BMW new car sales target.
  • Agree and align for sign off all finance tactical assets with BMW Financial Services.
  • Delivery of assets to support quality of revenue through a focus on product benefits alongside headline model offers. Assets to be Retailer and customer facing to improve efficiency.
  • Day to day operational communications with multiple marketing agencies to ensure delivery of cost effective, efficient Retailer marketing communications which are consistent and aligned between national and Retailer communications.
  • Develop and implement showroom point of sale materials for Retailer showroom use, working with network partners, Events/Experiential and Retailer Development.
  • Management of central stocking of marketing materials, including retailer replacement items and stationary plus planning and liaison with Pineham Warehouse to ensure smooth and timely delivery of materials.
  • Delivery of new content for Retailer POS through channels such as Mediaplayer, Podium, LaunchPad and other mediums.
Qualifications:
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in business studies, or a related discipline
  • Proven, relevant experience in a Marketing capacity within the automotive sector or premium brand marketing. Field or Retailer/commercial experience could be beneficial but not essential.
  • Creative and brand literate; able to manage and motivate creative agencies.
  • Good project management skills; able to ensure timely delivery of multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical skills: able to question complex information to identify cause and effect, then deliver attractive, progressive solutions
