Retail Manager
The role:
We are looking for an experienced, innovative, dynamic Retail Manager who is looking for their next career move and wants the autonomy of running their very own large-scale shop and Donation Centre, whilst being supported by an organisation that is at the top of their game within the charity retail market.
Due to a rapid development programme that has witnessed Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL) open new concept Donation Centres over the past year, which have all seen great success, we are looking for a talented, passionate Retail Manager to run our latest Donation Centre in Hull.
Entrepreneurial by nature, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the business. Paid employees will assist in the delivery of this service but you will also need to recruit and maintain a bank of skilled and general volunteers who will be able to collect and sort clothing, repair and up cycle electrical and furniture items ensuring that we provide a high-quality service to our donors, customers and the community. This role will also include establishing links with local businesses and individuals within the community, not only to provide donations but who can volunteer time to offer skills and train other people.

About Us
Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd is the trading arm of The Salvation Army in the UK and Republic of Ireland. We were established in 1991 to help fund The Salvation Army’s vital work with vulnerable people in the UK, and today we raise money and encourage reuse and recycling through over 240 charity shops and donation centres, and a nationwide network of around 8,000 clothing banks.
