To assist in the provision of a comprehensive and cost-effective catering service that meets the needs of staff, visitors and patients whilst fulfilling the objectives of the Trust.
Duties will include assisting in the preparation, storage, packaging, distribution, cooking and service of meals, confectionary and other food items.
To undertake a wide range of general kitchen and catering hygiene duties.
To work in accordance with Food Hygiene Regulations, Codes of Practice for Caterers and all relevant Trust policies.
To support with service delivery an exciting opportunity has become available to join the Trust's Retail Catering team. The position would require the post holder to work at Hull Royal Infirmary.
The position is permanent contract working at Hull Royal Infirmary. We have Part time and full time hours available. The working pattern (hours of work) will rotate to meet the service demands with adequate notice given to the suitable candidate - shift times will commence from 06:00 through to 20:00. Hours and shift patterns to be agreed if successful at Interview.
The role is front of house and back of house within the cafe's and restaurants on site serving a range of food and beverage items, from time to time this will include hospitality services to any functions/meetings held on the premises.
Duties will include assisting in the ordering, receiving and receipting of goods, preparation, packing, distribution, cooking and service of meals, confectionery and other food items. IT skills and ability to use an electronic points of sale will be required.
This role will predominantly be working within a catering environment selling a range of food and beverages along with ensuring full compliance with food safety at all times. The post holder must ensure all working practices are in accordance with Food Hygiene Regulations, Codes of Practice for Caterers and all relevant Trust policies.
