PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR - BROADBAND ROLLOUT
Reports to: Project Manager - Trading
Salary: £20,000 - 24,500 Pro Rata Dependent on Experience
Contract: 6 month Secondment Opportunity/Fixed Term Contract
Minimum working pattern: 15 hours ( 3 hours per day over 5 days)

We have a great opportunity for an administrator to join our trading project team to help with the roll out of broadband across our retail portfolio.
This is a great opportunity for someone to use their admin, customer service and planning & reporting skills to support with a major project that will enhance the lives of our hard working shop staff. You will gain exposure to working across a number of directorates (Tech and Trading) and a variety of stakeholders, so this is a real chance to develop your project and communication skills.
You will need to be available for a 5th of June Start
CRUK will begin upgrading the internet and telephony provision across all of our 600 shops to ensure we have the broadband and telephony capacity to meet our current and future needs. The shops will have their broadband lines upgraded, wi-fi installed and VoIP telephony systems. The administrator role will play a key role within the project team to support all the administration aspects of the rollout and work closely with internal & external stakeholders, suppliers and contractors to support the smooth delivery of the project
Key Responsibilities:
Record & manage data relating to installation dates, issues and escalations and completed installations
Oversee project checklists, queries and update the Project Manager and Project team with issues or matters that need escalation or intervention
Provide and maintain lists for the Project Manager, suppliers and contractors
Support the Project Manager to co-ordinate all admin required throughout the rollout
Work closely with retail field teams and central departments such as Internal Comms, Marketing, Health & Safety & Compliance to ensure key project stages are completed to time
Support shop teams directly via email and phone to answer questions and help with queries
Work closely with the shop teams, Project Manager and project team to support with communicating serious issues and escalations when they arise
Oversee receipt of checklists and feedback from shop teams and stakeholders
To develop and maintain excellent relationships both with internal stakeholders and externally with suppliers and key stakeholders
Key skills and experience:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and contractors
Strong planning and reporting skills
Proactive and ability to work on own initiative with a solution focused approach
Driven in terms of task management and working to deadlines
Highly customer focused
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
The ability to proactively manage multiple tasks within in fast paced environment
Experience of dealing with telephone & electronic queries from a diverse group of internal and external customers
