Retail Assistant – N-Able
- Location: Barnsley Glassworks, S70 1GW
- Salary: £24,876.80 pro rata, equating to £11.96 per hour
- Hours Per Week: 20 hpw - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Specialising in providing mobility equipment and other assistive technology to clients across the country, our well-equipped Facilitates Management N-able division currently have an excellent new opportunity for a Retail Assistant to join our team at the Barnsley Glassworks on a permanent, part-time basis.
The Role:
Operating as the face of our N-Able division, as a Retail Assistant you will play a crucial role in delivering a premium customer experience. Within this role you will be responsible for advising and assisting customers, answering queries, selling equipment, and operating a cash and stock till register. Ensuring our retail operations are carried out efficiently and effectively is paramount and strong customer interactions will be an essential part of this role to ensure maximum customer satisfaction through identifying customers’ needs and requirements. Alongside this, other duties will include:
- Managing receipts and the accurate records of sales and enquires in line with financial procedures.
- Assisting with keeping adequate and accurate records and confirming stock levels.
- Performing stock-related duties including returning goods, packing, pricing and labelling stock
- Ensuring you are knowledgeable with regards to products and suppliers, keeping up to date with competitors, and the current market, ensuring competitiveness and sales knowledge.
Our successful Candidate:
Alongside demonstrating previous experience within a customer focused environment, we are looking for you to display:
- Experience of dealing with financial transactions in a retail environment
- Experience with operating computerised till systems
- Excellent communication skills that are customer focused
- Knowledge and understanding of working in a shop environment
