We have an exciting opportunity for Retail Assistants based at our Bristol store across our Sales and Customer Relations functions. You'll be joining a close-knit team passionate about life at home!

We have contracts ranging from 12 hours a week to 39 hours a week.

Group interview dates: Tuesday and Wednesday the 26th and 27th of September.
Induction date: Sunday the 15th of October.

• We operate 7 days a week, and our busiest times where we meet our many customers is usually in the evenings and at the weekends, so there is an expectation that you are able to work at these times.
• For part-time contracts, 3 in 4 weekends will be worked. For full-time contracts, you will work every second weekend.

WHO YOU ARE
You are confident in approaching customers, treating them in a polite and friendly manner. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and a motivated mindset. You also enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

For this role, it is important that you are passionate about home furnishings and care about good customer service. In IKEA, we place great emphasis on leading others and ourselves with a positive approach, even during the busiest and most challenging times.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY

SALES CO-WORKER

• You actively approach customers to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings.
• You support maximising sales by being proud of your areas of responsibility, ensuring the customer meets an area that is clean, well presented, and easy to shop.
• You have a good understanding of basic sales principles.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS CO-WORKER

• You provide an efficient and accurate checkout and customer service experience in various areas of the store.
• You will handle After Sales, which includes product returns, and our Click & Collect service.
• You ensure that payments are handled in a reliable, efficient, accurate and friendly way.
• You build loyalty by ensuring customers have an exceptional shopping experience.
