ARTBOX is looking for bubbly, outgoing sales assistants with amazing customer service skills to join our Brighton team for 2-3 days a week!
Main responsibilities
- Achieving sales targets
- Providing the highest standards of customer service
- General housekeeping and merchandising
- Maintaining the security of the shop premises and stock
- Assisting with in-store events and activities
- Assisting management
- Any duties required to achieve the smooth and profitable running of the cafe
On occasion and when considered appropriate, you may be required to carry out other duties that fit within your strengths, including assisting our event team at London based conventions such as MCM Comic-Con.
The Ideal Candidate
You are confident, outgoing and friendly. You enjoy assisting people of all ages, from excited children to nostalgic adults, and from first time visitors to hardcore collectors. You will genuinely care about our customers and enjoy brightening their day.
Skills and Attributes
- Previous retail experience in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication and listening skills
- The ability to work independently and show initiative
- The ability to take responsibility and be accountable for your actions
- Confidence and common sense
- A great team player with the ability to promote and help build a positive work environment
- Flexibility and availability to work during our Monday to Sunday opening hours
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 14-20 per week
Salary: £10.50 per hour
