Alvarez & Marsal's Restructuring & Insolvency practice is looking for highly motivated, commercial, personable, analytical, inquisitive and open-minded individuals to support in becoming a qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA).
Due to continued business growth and investment in building our team, graduate opportunities are available for those interested in becoming a Restructuring & Insolvency professional in our Scotland offices (Edinburgh/Glasgow). We are currently recruiting for a September 2023 start date.
We will support you through your ACA training and provide both the professional and personal development opportunities you need to grow. You will be working in a close team of talented individuals, benefiting from personal coaching and mentoring from our senior leaders.

Our team of experienced, qualified, insolvency practitioners has extensive experience in using insolvency processes to deliver restructuring solutions and maximising recoveries when insolvency becomes unavoidable. As a Graduate within the Insolvency team, you can expect to be involved with a wide breadth of assignments, from option analysis and contingency planning for a potential insolvency, to formal insolvency appointments.

Requirements and qualifications
Eligibility to work in the UK
2:1 or higher undergraduate degree
A-level ABB (or equivalent)
Business level English is a pre-requisite and any other languages are desirable
IT skills - proficient in Excel and Word to intermediate level. Database skills would also be an advantage
Relevant work experience preferred but not a necessity
Evidence of significant non-academic achievements
