The Merchant Hotel is a sumptuous 5* hotel situated in Belfast City Centre. The Great Room Restaurant is the jewel in the crown of the hotel. A sumptuous space evoking effortless and timeless grandeur, situated in the former main Banking Hall of the building. A more fitting setting for the gastronomic delights prepared daily for discerning guests could not be imagined.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Breakfast waiting staff (Full-Time) to join our team in The Great Room Restaurant.
Rate of pay is £10.42 per hour plus excellent service charge for all staff
A full time member of staff could expect to earn on average an additional £100 -£150 per week through service charge paid weekly through payroll.
Sample rota for a breakfast waiting staff:
Monday 7am – 3pm
Tuesday Rest day
Wednesday 7am – 3pm
Thursday 6am – 3pm
Friday Rest day
Saturday 8am – 5pm
Sunday 7am – 3pm
The essential criteria for this position is:
- Two years customer care experience
- cash handling experience
- excellent customer service experience
The desirable criteria for this position is:
- Experience working within a five star setting
- Experience within a fine dining restaurant
The ideal candidate will be able to display excellent customer care skills, the ability to anticipate guest needs and offer the genuine warmth of the “Merchant Welcome”.
