Restaurant Waiter/Waitress – Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport
We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Restaurant Waiter/Waitress in the excellent Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport
With 365 bedrooms, 17 Meeting and Events rooms, our vibrant Aviator Bar and Grill Restaurant, this is a 24/7 property where you will never be bored!
And with a further 2 hotels having opened in the City of Manchester and a 3rd Hotel on the way this is a rapidly growing company with fantastic career development opportunities for the right candidate!
We are offering £10.42 per hour across all ages which then increases after 6 months, plus excellent tips and incentive schemes!
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Restaurant Waiter/Waitress will provide a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly using their name.
- Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
- Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
- Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
Requirements:
- Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star hotel property is desired but not essential.
- Previous experience in a high volume/ fast paced environment.
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
- Micros Experience would be preferable.
