THE ROLE:
Our General Managers are accountable for everything within their restaurants. They are focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences, recruiting, training and managing their team, in addition to traditional and social media marketing and being fully accountable for the profit and loss account of their restaurant.
Our General Managers are engaging communicators with their team and guests. They are passionate about everything that they do and are consistent in how they do it.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Leads from the front, putting the guest at the heart of the business
- Empowers the team to deal with complaints and deliver magic moments
- Passionate about food quality and regularly checks food specs
- Shares guest feedback with the team and generates a great service culture
- Engages the team to drive feedback during every shift

ENGAGE YOUR TEAMS
- Creates an enjoyable working environment

- Communicates expectations and regularly carries out feedback and team reviews
- Communicates with the team and cascades all relevant information

ACHIEVE YOUR RESULTS
- Proactively forecasts sales and labour, flexing accordingly as the week progresses
- Ensures every shift is planned and organised with the right people in the right place at the right time
- Takes regular action to control costs and drive the P&L, in order to maximise sales and convert profit
- Communicates with local businesses and builds relationships within the local community
- Uses own their initiative to utilise local sales opportunities
- Drives a sales culture in the restaurant and implements regular sales driving activities and incentives for the team
DRIVE YOUR STANDARDS
- Ensures Food Safety and Health and Safety are the number one priority and the team understandtheir role in ensuring a safe and legal workplace
- Communicates to the team the consequences of their actions with regards to being safe, legal and compliant
- Takes accountability for all company policies and procedures and always leads by example
- Takes accountability for legislative compliance as per company handbook
- Ability to live and work in Gibraltar and Europe essential
- Firm Grasp of Spanish language preferable
- At least 1 year experience working at GM level in Las Iguanas or similar large restaurant chain essential.
