An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 6 Specialist Nurses to join our Community Respiratory Service, bring your passion and experience in Nursing assessment and process as well as rehabilitation to help shape our evolving service.
Our established nurses describe how they are empowered to treat people across a wide spectrum of presentations from admission avoidance, long term conditions management and rehabilitation.
We have also just launched a new Breathlessness and Breathing pattern disorders clinic, which is the first for the Black Country region.
You will be fully supported by senior nurses and therapists as the team includes; Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Respiratory and Heart Failure specialist nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, Assistant Practitioners and Rehab Support, delivering integrated care and supporting recovery in the person's home, gyms and clinic.
This role will suit either a Band 5 looking for career progression or an experienced Band 6. Full training and regular coaching and mentoring will be available. The newly appointed Community Respiratory Service leadership team promote the development of specialist knowledge and skills to ensure our patients with complex needs in the community receive the best care possible.
We would look to develop your knowledge and advanced skills in admission avoidance, advanced assessment skills, specialist rehabilitation, oxygen assessment and prescription as well as the opportunity to become a NMP.
