West Yorkshire Police are seeking to appoint a number of Resourcing Assistants to join the Resourcing team based at Force Headquarters in Wakefield city centre.

The Organisation

As a Resourcing Assistant you will be the first point of contact for candidates; assisting with any application queries and administering and processing the resourcing steps as required (including the writing of adverts, preparing, and issuing letters of appointments and contracts of employment, shortlisting, interviews, assessments, arranging of vetting and communication to Employee Relations departments).

What you’ll need?

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Competent in the use of a range of computer packages including Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of HR/Recruitment practices
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • previous administration experience
