We now have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Administrator to work across all areas of recruitment activity, maintaining and developing the administration processes and helping us deliver great experience to all candidates and hiring managers.
Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and normally cares for around 11,000 dogs across its network of 21 rehoming centres in the UK and one in Dublin. Dogs Trust has a non-destruction policy and will never put a healthy dog to sleep.
HR is a growing team of over 30 friendly, hardworking colleagues supporting 1600 employees in more than 70 locations across the UK. The Resourcing Team manages around 80 vacancies at any one time and in excess of 600 in a year.
In this busy role you will look after the team inboxes, dealing with enquiries where possible, and escalating as required. You will be the first point of contact for external telephone queries and will be responsible for all administration within the team, including requesting references and processing pre-employment checks, organising interviews, and maintaining the applicant tracking system, Harbour. You will also offer advice and partner with stakeholders across the business to help us deliver innovative attraction campaigns.
As this is a fast-paced role with many competing demands, you will need to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise your work effectively, whilst collaborating with the team. An exceptional administrator with brilliant people skills, you will also have experience of delivering consistently great customer service.

We operate a hybrid working model, with (on average) 2 days a week spent in the London office.
