As a Resource Planner, you’ll support the London Audit BU and play a pivotal role in the delivery of operational excellence.
This role is a FTC (or secondment) opportunity and will be based in Embankment Place, London. You will need to be expected to co-locate with the team 2-3 days per week .
About the role
We are looking for a Resource Planner to join the London Audit Resourcing Team. As a Resource Planner you will play a key role supporting the wider London Audit Resource Management team across a range of resourcing and resourcing related activities. This is an exciting and newly created role therefore represents a great opportunity for someone keen to make a difference.
In a fast paced, dynamic environment, this role will provide you with opportunity to finesse your organisation and coordination skills, though on the job learning and specific training
The key responsibilities of this role:
Ensure that changes to staff schedules are actionned promptly, using our workforce planning system (Staffing & Deployment)
Produce regular, standardised Management Information (MI) to provide insight and trends to Resourcing team, and to key stakeholders within the Business Unit
Perform regular data integrity checks/data cleansing in our workforce planning system to deliver sustainable, high quality information
Liaise with client teams to validate outstanding demand on a regular basis, helping the RM team prioritise resource deployment most effectively.
Undertake regular administrative tasks for example supporting the BU holiday approvals process, tasks associated with our resource optimisation tool, support around changes to PQ/L&D bookings and organising team meetings and taking minutes. .
Manage the stockcount process within the BU, and be the point person for the Audit Resourcing Operations team for this activity.
Provide ad hoc support or cover to the Resourcing Officers including supporting the deployment of Associates when needed
Provide support to the Senior Resource Manager around BU communications for Resource Management.
Early identification and action to address issues that may adversely impact on delivery, using appropriate escalation protocols, where necessary.
Share knowledge and best practice across the team.
Build and develop strong and effective relationships with colleagues.
Essential skills and experience
Ability to work independently and across multiple tasks
Planning and/or Scheduling skills
Maintain high attention to detail, especially when processing high volumes of work
Actively manage expectations and escalate where necessary
Actively seek and identify opportunities for development
Time management and organisational skills
Resilient and proactive with a positive, agile attitude towards changing demands and peaks/troughs in workload.
Desirable skills and experience would include;
Use of workforce planning systems such a Retain, although training will be provided for successful candidates
Knowledge of MS Office or Google suite applications, particularly MS Excel/Google sheets
Experience of managing high volume tasks
