CHANGE SENIOR MANAGER – DATA AND INSIGHT
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Reports to: Business Owner – Data and Insight Focus Area
Department: Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement
Contract: 18 month fixed-term contract
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week. We are open to considering compressed hours.
Location: Stratford, London. Office-based with high flexibility (1-2 days per week in the office)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Change and Project Manager to lead on the implementation of the change plan for the Engage Data and Insight Focus Area. Working in partnership with our Technology Department you will develop and deliver a change plan to support the establishment of our Data Governance Model, building understanding, engagement and adoption across business and tech teams. You will also be responsible for establishing and delivering a broader Data Culture change plan to support our Engage programme.
We are looking for someone who has a wealth of experience in change management within the Data and Insight sector. A key part of this role will be instigating a significant cultural change in how we work, so you will need to be a strong communicator with experience in generating movement to inspire behaviour change for both employees and Senior Leaders. You will be an expert in using Agile project management and business change management principles to deliver complex transformation programmes. What will I be doing?
  • Establishing sustainable and influential working relationships with key stakeholders, and bring the right balance of challenge and support to ensure progress on the transformation
  • Collaborating with Sponsor, Business Owner(s) and project team to clearly define project vision, outcomes, benefits, key milestones, key cross dependencies, decisions, risks, issues, and other strategic project deliverables.
  • Bring expertise in change methodologies, and Agile ways of working to support the transformation
  • Working in an Agile way, leading the end-to-end delivery of change to deliver on key results as defined in OKRs: Including the day-to-day projects activity, ensuring effective collaboration, and planning across a mix discipline team, including but not limited to: Ceremonies, necessary meetings and workshops, ensuring sprints are structured well, backlogs are maintained, and agile techniques are applied and understood by the team.
  • Developing plans and link key milestones into strategic project roadmaps. Track and manage project information such as milestones, dependencies, owners, risks, issues, and mitigations. Coordinate stakeholders to ensure actions are prioritised and progressed at pace.
  • Ensuring any structural/ways of working, behavioural or cultural changes are implemented, holding tension around the delivery of these, including in line with Business Change, Agile, and Design principles.
  • Working with the Business Change Lead to champion the overall change approach across Engage and to ensure alignment with planned activity.
  • Coaching and supporting the stakeholders to define and deliver change by supporting on creating change impact assessments, carrying out training needs analysis, creating a training plan and working with Business Change Lead to get leadership to prioritise and invest in training.
  • Leading on engagement and communications, coaching and supporting stakeholders to champion change, and embed change with teams.
  • Supporting the Data and Insight team to integrate change management practice into the wider D&I delivery plans.
  • Accountable to reporting to Data and Insight Business Owner and Business Change Lead on how change is progressing. Ensuring escalations are timely and provided with options and recommendations.
What skills will I need?
  • Significant experience in Agile project management and business change management principles
  • Experience of leading data and insight change programmes. Understanding of key concepts underpinning data and insight methods, tools, and systems and their application in a business environment
  • Experience managing transformation programmes and projects or at least familiar with transformative approaches, experience of shaping from the start through to delivery of benefits
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate and influence across complex matrix-management structures (including Senior level)
  • Demonstrable experience in using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills working to challenging targets and deadlines, including working with Agile planning and inputting into roadmap and structured reporting
  • Calm, confident, and articulate communicator who can concisely communicate complex information and concepts with all colleagues written or verbally.
  • Leads and motivates project teams and acts as a role model
  • Demonstrable evidence of interpreting & manipulating project data clearly and accurately with the ability to quickly extract & articulate key points.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, as well as handle difficult and sensitive situations by making sound and independent judgements
  • Excellent active listening and facilitation skills
