We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Work closely with internal departments, looking at engagement standards and resource output from these standards
- Ensure delivery windows are met and any changes communicated through the Heathrow operations team and to all colleagues impacted
- Liaise with all operational departments to ensure plan met demand
- Work collaboratively with other relevant DHL contracts / divisions
- Demonstrate a positive & respectful attitude to others
- Work with site teams to ensure the optimised plan is delivered
- Ensure Customer & DHL's KPI's are met by planning effectively
- Plan load schedules making best use of skill & resource where possible, utilising inform planning and rostering systems to maximise staff utilisation and ensure coverage of all flights
- Maintaining all inform databases for Planning and Rostering
- Advise on changes required to improve efficiency
- Ability to understand how effective planning affects the real time allocation of staff and the success of the operation
- Have good knowledge of Inform system and be able to use it on a daily basis
- Deliver a plan to optimise the resource to make efficient use of the staffing budget
- Work safely in line with Health & Safety guidelines
- Report health & safety issues immediately to line managers
- Strive to reduce the number of health & safety related incidents year on year

- IT Literate
- Fully proficient with Inform or similar planning and rostering tools
- Understanding of aviation operations
- Excellent knowledge of airport planning and aviation industry
Security Process to work within Aviation and Travel at DHL
- Be able to provide 5 years address history
- Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
- To obtain a full airside ID
