Job Description:
The Resource Management and Workforce planning team is a newly created Operations Centre of Excellence which will support our organisation transformation priorities to get better deploying our most critical resource as a professional services organisation – our people. We have just started our journey to set up and scale our Resource Management COE and we are now looking for an individual who has vast experience in Resource Management delivery but also feels comfortable advocating change as we progress and evolve our Resource Management function in Media UK.
What you will be doing

The purpose of this role is to support the management of supply and demand across a sub-area of the Media UK service line. You will partner and collaborate with growth, finance, operations and Client Leads to staff teams timely and ensure excellence in client delivery; ensuring schedules are updated when required to reflect workloads to agreed timeframes, as well as building relationships with key stakeholders to understand skills and availability, and to identify opportunities to develop internal talent.

  • Assists in reviewing capacity across capability areas on an ongoing basis and proactively works to re-balance professionals who are above / below utilisation targets. monitoring resource utilization and identifying opportunities to optimize bench resources.
  • Owns and manages resource requests by validating requirements and affordability, searches for candidates and presents candidates for consideration.
  • Assists in planning for all assignments and extensions of resources based on capacity and demand needs and proactively engages with resources, gains meaningful understanding of their skills, experience and aspirations, and identifies the right opportunities for them.
  • Proposes resources with current or near-term availability to project that aligns with their skills, professional goals and/or staffing preferences
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date administrative tasks and system updates relating to supply and demand and proactively reviews opportunity pipeline to create and understand the picture of upcoming demand and the impact of resource needs
  • Partner with team members and leadership in implementing continuous improvement related to resource management, talent pipelining, acquisition, and onboarding - including contractor and off, near and onshore.
  • Interpret and analyse MI reports to provide trends and forecast data to inform the headcount planning process.
What you will bring
  • Experience in a Resource Management related role.
  • Experience in creating and analysing MI across people, client and financial datasets.
  • Experience of working with resourcing management tools and platforms.
  • Proven ability to co-ordinate and manage various projects at the same time, involving numerous stakeholders, multi-tasking among competing demands.
It would also be nice for you to have
  • Media industry experience/exposure – experience in Adobe Workfront platform desirable.
  • Comfortable in navigating an ambiguous, fast-paced and matrixed working environment.

This is a permanent role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements.
