If this sounds like you, we are looking for a Resource Business Support Manager to play a key role in the Operations Planning Business Management Team to shape and support our planning processes. By using a high level of IT literacy combined with excellent numeracy and analytical skills you’ll have a passion for evaluating and solving complex problems.
The Operations Planning Resource Business Support Manager role is crucial in ensuring that the Resource Planning & Delivery department has worldclass processes and systems in place. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and proposing solutions to business issues, supporting development and delivery of a resourcing strategy aligned to the Heathrow vision, and simplifying and automating processes to maximize productivity. They will be expected to work collaboratively with stakeholders, create key reports, and source external benchmarking opportunities. The role requires a focus on removing manual intervention and improving efficiency. The successful candidate must have a flexible schedule, as the operation runs 24x7.
Qualifications / Experience
The Resource Business Support Manager role requires a candidate with strong on-the-job experience in Resource Planning and Delivery processes and excellent people management skills. The ideal candidate must possess strong planning, numeracy, and analytical skills, as well as exceptional communication skills to convey complex problems to both technical and non-technical audiences. They must be a critical thinker who can evaluate complex problems and make decisions in a clear and informative manner. Additionally, the candidate should have proven stakeholder engagement experience, initiative in delivering positive business change, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with line customers, including senior managers. Expertise in project management, Business Objects, and databases, as well as high IT literacy with excellent Excel and data manipulation skills, are also important. The candidate should be emotionally resilient, cope well with pressure and changing demands, and possess good organisation and time management skills.
