Job description
Tutelage Care provide safe, stimulating care and aspirational educational opportunities to children and young people aged between 10 and 17 with a range of complex speech, language and communication difficulties including Autism and ADHD. The young people may also have additional learning disabilities and display associated challenging behaviours.
Being part of the Tutelage team means working in a ‘home from home’ environment with fantastic opportunities to participate in a wide range of activities with the young people including eating out at restaurants and cinema visits, participating in sporting activities and days out to amusement parks.
- Candidates will have at least six months experience within a similar setting, a working knowledge of autism and will already hold a Level 3 Diploma in residential childcare or be willing to work towards this
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll help the team provide a safe, stimulating, fun and caring environment, supporting the children with household tasks using hands on activities.
We are looking for candidates for Redbridge and Barking homes.
