Persona: Office based with the ability to work from home 2 days per week (60-80% Office Based)*
Salary: £36,100 to £42,000 per annum depending on experience

Role Profile - Residential Lettings Analyst


L&Q currently has a Market Rent (PRS) portfolio of over 2500 homes with ambitions to have over 5,000 new build homes in the next 3 years; expanding greatly to become one of the largest rental portfolios in the capital. We also offer homes under our affordable Intermediate Market Rent (IMR) giving customers opportunity into purchasing a home in the near future.

L&Q's Private Rented Sector (PRS) is an ambitious and dynamic department with exciting developments across London, and it is looking to recruit a like-minded Residential Lettings Analyst. It is an exciting opportunity for a confident and highly experienced data analyst with a residential property development and lettings background wanting to develop their career. Working alongside another Residential Lettings Analyst, this role will provide analytic functions to the PRS function of circa 50 staff, it will be at the heart of the department helping shape its strategic direction.


You will be responsible for:


  • Providing complete data analysis specific for Residential Lettings, including internal sales performance and external market activity
  • Collating market intelligence information and informing management of relevant market trends and forecasts; reporting on all aspects of lettings performance
  • Providing expertise/advice on the different apartment types, development information, specifications and effective pricing and phasing strategies for our new lets and relet properties.
  • Regularly updating optimum rental values on existing stock to aid in the pricing of renewals and relets to maximise income

To be successful in the role you will have:


  • Demonstrable knowledge of the property market and able to collate and analyse lettings data in a demanding environment
  • Experience of Market Research and Intelligence with proven ability to produce detailed and accurate reports and forecasts to a high standard
  • Experience in building relationships with external property developers, local agents and other PRS operators to provide expert knowledge for effective pricing and phasing strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with others
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel) skills and a strong familiarisation with industry wide software such as Hometrack, Molior, Rightmove, Office of National Statistics
