We are looking for full time support worker for our children's home in the Peak District. Are you looking for a change of scenery or a new challenge, working in a really positive environment, for flexible employer?

The Role

Actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people in our care.

Working in a team that offers a consistent high level of service, that is in line with our philosophy of care and underpinned by a child-centred therapeutic approach.

To support the homes management team to ensure that a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment is evidenced, delivered and developed in accordance with the organisations’ core values.

The Requirements

· Complete 48 hour shifts with sleep-in duties, two on four off pattern

· Understanding of working to policy/procedure and following instruction

· Able to deal with confrontation and some challenging behaviour

· Good communication and relationship building skills

· Full driving licence is required due to the location of the home
