The role…
Here at The Headland Hotel you will be first point of contact, you will be responsible for creating outstanding first impressions to guests and non-residents alike. You will deal with all phone calls in a warm and professional manner, ensuring everyone, whether they are families, couples or business guests get the experience they are looking for, making every stay memorable.
Our ideal candidate…
You will have superb organisational skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, working effectively with other departments to ensure all guests' requests are catered for. Grammar, spelling and proficient IT skills are essential (particularly with Microsoft Suite.)
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a front of house position, but this is not essential as you will receive excellent training, with the possibility of working towards an NVQ or equivalent qualification. Knowledge and experience of a Property Management System and Revenue is preferable, and a good knowledge of the local area is advantageous.
Salary and Contract
This is a full-time permanent position based on a 40-hour working week including weekends and bank holidays.
