Our client is a well-known building society with headquarters in Swindon; As one of the largest savings and mortgage providers in the UK, 15 million members are at the heart of everything they do.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Researcher (Content & Communications) for a 6 Month contract based in Swindon or London (Hybrid, 2 time a week in the office).
Purpose of the Role:
The Researcher (Content & Communications) core focus will be Communications and Content Research, and you'll be joining a community of researchers with a broad range of experience that also includes Design Research, Market Research, Strategic Foresight, Data and Analytics and Brand Research.
As a Researcher (Content & Communications) you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Client primarily with their communications and comprehension testing programme.
- Taking insight from research and testing and communicate it in a way that engages.
- Influencing and help the Client to make the right decisions for customers.
- Planning, designing and carrying out research activities with users that help teams get a deep understanding of the Client's members and how they interact with our communications and content, across different journeys and channels.

- Analysis and synthesis. You can turn research data into clear findings that inform decisions. You can effectively involve colleagues in analysis and synthesis to increase consensus and challenge assumptions.
- Inclusive research. You can understand the diversity of members and users of our services. You can effectively include all kinds of users in appropriate research activities to help teams deliver accessible services and understand vulnerable customers' needs.
- Research. You can understand and demonstrate experience in a range of user research and/or market research methods. You can choose appropriate methods for different situations and stages of the customer journey ad product life cycle.
- Strategy and wider insight. You can understand wider customer strategy and organisational objectives. You can align comms research activities with these objectives to create strategic insights that inform our proposition and services.
- User-centred practices. You can understand user-centred design and strategy practices and how to produce timely findings. You are able to work in an open, iterative and collaborative way in a multidisciplinary team.
