We are seeking a Researcher to join our Latin Lawyer/LACCA team to take on the responsibility of the research, selection process and editorial content of the Latin Lawyer and LACCA benchmarking publications, reporting to the Benchmarking Editor of Latin Lawyer and LACCA.

Key Responsibilities


  • Analyse submissions and identify the leading lawyers and law firms by jurisdiction and practice area
  • Arrange and conduct research interviews with law firms and in-house counsel active in Latin America, both over the telephone and face-to-face
  • Write succinct, engaging and accurate copy
  • Conduct and oversee ad hoc research projects, including compiling data and presenting it in a range of formats
  • Maintain member databases
  • Work collaboratively as part of a broader Editorial team and with teams across the business

Skills Knowledge and Expertise


  • Minimum of a 2:1 from a leading UK university
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferable
  • Demonstrable interest in research and the law
  • Excellent communication and strong writing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to analyse large amounts of data
  • Willingness to travel
  • Possessing an 'international outlook
