As a Research Scientist in Science, you’ll be a part of the Research Team, working on some of the most challenging areas of computational biology (such as drug design, protein folding, and molecular property prediction) using artificial intelligence. The role of a Research Scientist is to help shape and drive our ambitious research agenda, to publish in leading journals and at conferences, and to support InstaDeep’s applied BioAI projects. Individuals in this role are expected to be accomplished in computational biology and machine learning, with demonstrated expertise in at least one area evidenced by relevant academic/industrial experience or publications.
Who you are:
- Experience leading a team in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
- Software engineering experience demonstrated via previous work, and contributions to open-source or coding competitions.
Requirements:
- M.S./Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational Biology or a related field.
- Experience using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow and/or Jax.
- Experience in developing and debugging in C/C++, Python or similar languages.
- A demonstrated ability to successfully deliver high-quality research, for example through the publication of scientific papers in journals or conferences.
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit.
