We are seeking an enthusiastic Research Nurse to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to develop expertise in Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) through engagement with our established, internationally-leading neuroscience research program led by Professor Kevin Talbot, Professor Martin Turner, and Dr. Alexander Thompson.
You will be primarily responsible for the delivery of the Oxford-led arm of the UKMNDRI funded programme of work to develop a cohort study for biofluid biomarker development in MND. In addition, you will also work collaboratively with the Oxford MND Centre’s Research Team (comprising Clinical Research Fellows, Project Managers and a Research Assistant) to support the delivery of a portfolio of clinical studies and trials. The post-holder will also receive training in all aspects of MND patient assessment and care.
It is essential that the post-holder is a registered qualified nurse and has evidence of continuous professional/academic development. It is desirable that the post-holder has experience of working in a clinical research environment.
This post is full time and fixed-term until 31 Jan 2025.
