Job description

We are seeking a talented Research Fellow (Digital Mental Health) with a strong research background who can apply their skills, knowledge and experience to raise the profile of the GM.Digital Research Unit and to ensure we are recognised nationally and globally as a leading research unit for digital mental health. This will be achieved through establishing strong collaborative networks, writing successful grant applications, developing an evaluation strategy, writing and publishing papers and boosting our digital research.

What you’ll need

The successful candidate will be a talented, self-motivated Research Fellow with the ability to deliver successful grant applications and produce high impact publications to contribute to the longer-term sustainability of the research unit. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your research skills, knowledge and experience to make a significant contribution to improving the health of the population and the efficacy of the health service. You will be based at the University of Manchester, with the possibility of occasional travel to work with partner Universities or NHS organisations.

As this role involves research at a postgraduate level, applicants who are not an EEA national or a national of an exempt country and who will require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route of the UK Visas and Immigration’s (UKVI) Points Based System in order to take up the role, will be required to apply for an Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) Certificate and will need to obtain this prior to making any official visa application UKVI.
