About the role
We are advertising for a 2.5 year post doctoral research fellow position to support the ESRC funded project ‘REGeneration: An Ethnographic Study of Energy, Data and Social Change in Net-Zero Britain’ led by Professor Hannah Knox. The post is funded full-time for 30 months with a starting date of 1st October 2023. The salary is £39,508- £43,792 per annum including London Allowance. The exact start date will be agreed with the successful candidate depending on their constraints.
About you
We are seeking to appoint one post doctoral researcher with ethnographic experience of studying the everyday politics of climate change, energy and/or infrastructure, and with excellent skills in visual/media analysis. The post holder will split their time between research, writing/developing publications, shaping and coordinating creative collaborations and helping in the coordination of collective activities for the wider project. Applicants should hold a PhD in anthropology or related disciplines.
