Machine Learning Research Engineer - PhD, BSc, MSc, NLP, ML, AI, Vision, Mathematics, Computing, Science, Engineering LLM - £depending on experience + benefits, Cambridge

My client is a pioneering machine learning and artificial intelligence software house, they have developed some of the most advanced technologies, following this they are now highly regarded throughout the UK within the artificial intelligence domain. The team is comprised of mathematicians, engineers and lead by experienced entrepreneurs with a knack for producing award winning tech companies.

We would welcome the opportunity to speak to PhD academics who have a solid grounding in one of the following areas: machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, large language models or NLP. We would please expect to see detailed published academic work on your CV please - candidates without this cannot be considered. It is essential that you have graduated from one of the leading universities in the UK with a PhD, alongside a 2.1 or better and finally strong A-level grades.

If you do not possess a PhD but can demonstrate the above, then this could be considered.

Alongside the above we are looking for someone with proven industry experience in applying these techniques outside of academia with solid examples, so please note this is not a fresh graduate position on this occasion.

Mathematically gifted, analytically minded, natural problem solver and can explore complex mathematical subjects at a deep level. You will have worked with large data sets, algorithms and have excellent attention to detail.
In terms of programming we expect you to be able to code confidently in at least one programming language such as Java or Python and be familiar with operating systems.
