Shakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a Senior Higher Education and Research Coordinator to join our Education Department.
The Senior Coordinator supports the Senior Higher Education Manager in planning, resourcing and evaluating our Higher Education programme of work. To support the Coordinators to ensure that each session is planned, staffed and resourced to a consistently high standard. They will support the Higher Education team to ensure that each session is planned, staffed and resourced to a consistently high standard.

As a member of both the Higher Education team and Research team, the Senior Higher Education and Research Coordinator will be responsible for the co-administration and successful co-delivery of our Higher Education and research events.
The skills:
- Strong planning and organisation skills.
- Experience working with creative people and/or academics and/or within a creative and/or educational environment.
- Experience supervising a team
- The ability to respond rapidly and calmly to changing situations.
- Customer focused approach ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload to achieve deadlines whilst responding rapidly and effectively to changing situations
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of people at all levels.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Ability to work with discretion and tact
- IT literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Education is at the heart of SShakespeare’s Globe. We run a year-round programme of activities and courses for schools, families, universities, drama schools, scholars and the general public. Our programmes are aligned with values of social justice, access and SShakespeare for all.
Regular early morning and evening working, including weekend is required as part of this role, scheduled in advance. For additional hours, time in lieu is agreed. There are no extra payments for additional hours worked. Flexible working may be considered where appropriate to ensure full support for on-site activities.
