Job description
A Research Associate is required in the Department of Chemistry, University of Manchester to synthesise and characterise organic materials for industrial research projects in the Organic Materials Innovation Centre (OMIC). The projects focus on new chemical routes from bioderived feedstocks to aviation fuel. This post will involve collaboration with researchers within the University and in company partners and may involve time working in collaborator laboratories. Applicants should have a strong track record in organic synthesis with experience in flow chemistry.
